ABOUT
Hi! I’m Bethany Wray—artist, educator, and owner of Arrowleaf Studio.
Thanks so much for stopping by and taking time to explore my work!
I’ve been making art for as long as I can remember, a passion that led me to earn both my BFA and MFA in Fine Art. Originally from San Diego, I’ve slowly made my way up the West Coast and now call the Methow Valley home. This beautiful, rural part of Washington—tucked beside the North Cascades and surrounded by wilderness—is a constant source of inspiration for my watercolor paintings.
When I’m not in my studio at TwispWorks, you’ll often find me skiing, mountain biking, or exploring the trails that feed into my creative process. These adventures help me connect with the landscapes I paint—colorful, dynamic, and always changing.
In addition to creating art, I teach college-level art courses at Wenatchee Valley College. Teaching is an important part of my practice—I love sharing what I’ve learned and helping others grow their own creative voices.
I live in Twisp with my husband Ryan, our three cats (Ron, Pico, and Kitten), and our very fluffy bunny, Geoffrey.
I’d love to connect—feel free to reach out with questions, ideas, or just to say hello!
